Here at Associated Studios, we have a long history of awarding bursaries and scholarships to talented individuals from underprivileged backgrounds. Past recipients have gone on to have considerable success in the Musical Theatre industry. Alumni feature in lead roles in productions such as Motown, Phantom of the Opera, Hairspray, Kinky Boots, Mamma Mia, Chicago, School of Rock, Mamma Mia 2 (the Feature film) and many Television series.
We appreciate that after factoring in audition fees, travel costs and accommodation, auditioning for drama schools can be incredibly expensive. This is why we have decided to run an AUDITION DAY FREE OF CHARGE to those hopeful performers who maybe be struggling with the cost of auditions.
With this in mind, we will also be rewarding one talented individual with a 50% SCHOLARSHIP onto one of our Musical Theatre courses.
We have a keen focus on BAME performers and believe there is a lack of representation in the industry, something we are passionate about changing. However, we are keen to audition performers from all backgrounds and ethnicities.
